Odin's Creatures

It tells the story of the Norse god Odin and his animals. Two wolves (Geri and Freki), an 8 legged horse (Sleipnir, and yes he has 8 legs) and 2 ravens (Huginn and Muninn). The pattern includes a page on facts of Norse Mythology and lists the books used for info.

The model features a new green heather from Rauma for the background. It also has a good amount of Estonian Kihnu Vits braid and I give complete instructions with how to untwist. In the pattern are quite a lot of “good” bindrunes. Meanings are on charts. It is knitted in the round with steeks.

Rauma Finullgarn or Fingering Weight Wool in 7 colors. The pattern provides for 5 sizes, although length and circumference can be changed by adding repeats or changing needle size.
